Business Development Manager (Player Support)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate business leads within the North American market (USA/Canada)
  • Manage existing accounts and grow new ones
  • Ability to attend client meetings, presentations, trade shows and more
  • Introduce the organisation’s services in line with promotional briefs with a focus on their Customer Experience delivery
  • Create effective solutions tailored to the needs of the clients
  • Generate organic leads through existing networks or by using industry knowledge and prospection
  • Execute content lead campaigns as part of the wider sales strategy
  • Collaborate with Delivery & several support teams on maximising time spent engaging with clients

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrated Player Support Management experience with an extensive network of Player Support connections within the gaming industry
  • Strong track record of selling customer services, ideally player support, community and related-tech products & services to different stakeholders across all levels of target companies
  • In-depth knowledge of video games
  • Ability to demonstrate an experience of exceeding targets through building relationships
  • Outstanding ability to develop and deliver effective presentations
  • Proficiency in forecasting opportunities
  • Possession of an existing network of contacts within the games industry would be considered as a strong advantage
  • Self-motivated and organised
  • Passion for gaming and experience of CRM tools
  • Experience Business development within the games industry is preferred but not mandatory
  • Profiles coming from a ModSquad background will be prioritised.
