SaaS Account Manager (m,w,d) DACH

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Cultivate long-term relationships with DACH clients, implement retention strategies
  • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling based on the evolving needs of DACH clients
  • Consistently meet or exceed personal and sales circle targets
  • Regularly update and maintain accurate sales forecasts, anticipating market changes and client needs to adjust strategies accordingly
  • Work across the business, but most closely with sales, marketing, consultancy and support circles
  • Oversee and manage the renewal process for DACH clients
  • Engage in price and terms negotiations
  • Stay abreast of our product enhancements, new features, and overall capabilities
  • Organise and lead client workshops or webinars to educate them on our latest offerings
  • Support junior team members on effective lead generation and qualification techniques
  • Proactively seek out training opportunities, workshops, or seminars that can elevate sales skills, product knowledge, or industry insights
  • Ensure that all sales administration in the CRM is updated with accuracy and adherence to best practices
  • Directly report to the Territory Manager, DACH.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 2 years experience in account management in a SaaS environment, especially within the DACH region
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and client retention rates
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical skills with a knack for identifying potential opportunities and challenges
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple priorities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams
  • Results-driven and customer-focused approach
  • Experience with CRM software and business application management
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • The ability to work independently yet also team-oriented
  • The right to live and work and be resident in the UK or the Republic of Ireland
  • Ability to work productively in a remote-first environment
  • Willingness to co-locate in our Belfast Hub from time to time.
